This museum consentrates on works from the 16th-17th centuries, and includes the Namban Komo Art Collection, which contains many examples of Namban art, with its strong Portuguese and Spanish influence, and woodblock prints. The building, which was once a branch of Bank of Tokyo, also displays a variety of material about the history of Kobe and local folklore.
