The Site of the Uenomiya Colony
	<-(281K) at Sakurai city, Nara Pref.	Remains of the colony or village which existed from the late Ancient Burial Mounds Period to the Asuka Period. Sakurai City's government has transformed the remains into a public park. The park reproduces a pond/orchard complex consisting of rockwork ruins, including semicircular waterways which probably surrounded a group of buildings, and other relics. There are well-organized sign boards which give information on the remains as a guide to the Rekishi Kaido route.
