Ono no Komachi
| Ikaga in Omiya-cho is known as the place of Ono no Komachi's death. It is said that Ono no Komachi moved to this place when she grew old and that she passed away here.
The Onosan Myoshoji Temple has a scroll entitled "Ono no Komachi Hime," which is precious information concerning her legend.
The mound which is believed to be Komachi's tomb is located in Hazako, east of the entrance of the Ikaga district. It has two stone monuments, one big and one small, and the big one is engraved with the characters for "Ono Myosho Taishi." According to the tradition of the Onosan Myoshoji Temple, Komachi was given the posthumous Buddhist name "Myosho." The statue of Komachi and the memorial name tablet were dedicated in the temple.
